Overview
After a form is published, you can generate a dedicated submissions grid — called an Ad Hoc Grid — that displays all instances submitted for that form. Each form has its own Ad Hoc grid with columns automatically derived from the form's field widgets.
Generating the Ad Hoc Grid
-
Open the form in the Edit Form editor.
-
Click Settings ▼ → Generate Adhoc.
-
The grid is created and becomes accessible immediately.
This step only needs to be done once per form. If the form's fields change significantly, you may want to delete and regenerate the Ad Hoc grid to update its columns.
Viewing Submissions
Once generated, the Ad Hoc grid can be accessed in three ways:
-
Settings ▼ → Open Adhoc — from within the Edit Form editor
-
A menu link added via Settings ▼ → Add Submissions to Menu
-
Directly via a Lighthouse menu link if one was added
Grid Columns
Columns are automatically generated based on the form's field widgets. Common columns include:
-
Form field values (e.g., Description, Urgency, GLA)
-
Modified By — the user who last modified the submission
-
Modified Date — when the submission was last saved
-
Form Version — the version of the form used when the submission was created
Grid Controls
The Ad Hoc grid supports all standard PCR-360 grid features:
-
Search / Filter — filter submissions by any column value
-
Add — create a new form submission directly from the grid
-
Edit Selected — open a selected submission for editing
-
Delete — remove selected submissions (requires permission)
-
Open Contact — open the contact record associated with a submission
-
Report — generate a printable or exportable report of the submissions
-
Perspectives — save and switch between column/filter configurations
