Cable

PCR-360's Cable Module employs both text and visual representations of the User organization's data and voice network to provide users with a virtual roadmap of the many wires, cables, switches, and servers that support the User's organization.

By defining components relevant to specific segments of the cable infrastructure, users can build detailed cable paths to serve as references for tracking and management concerns. That way, if there is a disruption in service somewhere along the path, it will be easy to pinpoint; or, if new equipment needs access to the network, it'll be easy to connect.

Each menu link will take the user to a filterable and searchable grid that will display all data of that type in the system. Click the links below for each grid to view more details.

Paths grid shows all Paths currently in the system connected to either a Service (Assigned) or a Location (Left In).

Path Legs grid shows all the Path Legs.

Cable Maintenance grid displays a comprehensive list of all the individual Cables.

Pairs/Strands grid shows all the Cable Pairs/Strands.

Ports/Pins/Lens grid shows all Equipment Ports/Pins/Lens.

Conduits grid displays physical infrastructure (duct, raceway, etc.) that can host cables.

Access Points is a report grid that shows the physical sites (manhole, closet, etc.) at which a user can plug into a cabling network.

VLANs grid shows all the created Virtual LANS (VLANs).

Cable Locations grid shows all the cable connections based around the To and From locations that they connect with a single filterable grid
