Reset Password Request

Purpose

When the User clicks the Forgot your password? link

on the Authentication Required page they will be directed to the Reset Password Request form.

This notification will send an email when a User fills out the fields on the Reset Password Request form.

Note: This functionality will not be available if PCR-360 for single access sign-on like Shibboleth, LDAP, or CAC.

Recipient

This notification will send to ##USER_EMAIL##, which is the email of the User that is entered in the Username field.

Content

The content of the email will include the User ID of the User that is associated with the email. There will also be a link that will automatically redirect the User to the password reset form. The link in the email will automatically expire after 24 hours and the ##Date## will enter that into the email.
